How does the wedding gift registry work?
It’s an elegant and practical solution for couples to receive contributions from guests securely and in a personalized way, directly through their website without the need to share account numbers. This platform allows guests to contribute any amount they choose, giving the couple freedom to decide how to use those funds.
To make the process more visually appealing, various “gift” options are presented on the website as references for guests, such as:
- Entertainment: Symbolic gift example, like a dinner for two at a Michelin-starred restaurant for €400.
- Products: Suggested gifts, such as a set of high-quality champagne glasses.
- Contributions: Specific contributions, like funds for the honeymoon or setting up a new home.
Guests can view the suggested gifts and choose which category or type of gift they wish to contribute to, while the couple has the freedom to use those funds as they see fit for their new life together.
What fees are applied to the wedding gift registry?
We apply a transparent fee to each transaction made through the gift registry. This fee covers payment management and security, providing a hassle-free experience.
Our fee is the most affordable on the market:
Processing fee of 0.50 € + 3 % per transaction.
(For example, if you receive a gift of €100, our fee would be €0’5 + 3% = €3,5)
What is the design process like?
The design of each website starts with an initial consultation to understand your tastes and preferences. Our creative team designs every aspect, working with you throughout the process to ensure the final result reflects your vision.
Do I need professional photos for my website?
Professional photos are not necessary, though we highly recommend them, as they can add a special touch and make your website look more polished. However, our team will work with the images you have available, ensuring the website looks elegant and well-designed.
How do I send the information I want to appear on my website?
After the initial consultation, we will provide you with a guide to send all relevant information, such as photos, texts, and event details, in a simple and organized way. We can also arrange a video call to finalize details.
Will the texts I send be edited?
Yes, our team will review and polish the texts to ensure clear communication that reflects your style. This editing service is included to make sure the content on your website is impeccable.
How long does it take to design my wedding website?
The design time may vary depending on the website’s complexity and customization, but it usually ranges from 2 to 4 weeks. We will keep you informed of each progress throughout the process. The design phases are:
- PHASE 0 – INITIAL
- Contract and payment of 50% of the invoice.
- Definition of Sections to be structured.
- Selection of domain or URL.
- Couples (or Wedding Planner) send initial content (names, dates, locations, etc…).
- PHASE 1 (1 week from contract signing)
Structuring and publishing the website on a temporary page. - PHASE 2 (1 week after final payment and having final content)
Update the website with the remaining sections. - PHASE 3
Finalize details.
Since it’s a digital product, last-minute updates (changing schedules, additional recommendations, etc.) can always be made, but please try to group the changes or updates as much as possible and send them all at once so we can be more efficient and quicker with the final delivery.
How can I update data on my website?
You can contact us anytime to make updates to your website. Our team will apply the necessary changes to keep the information up to date.
What is a Custom Domain?
You can choose between a private domain (e.g., www.weddingemmaandliam.com) or a JDN BRIDAL subdomain (e.g., eugeniayalvaro.jdnbridal.com). Your domain will be active for 1 year, and if
you’d like to renew it, we’ll guide you through the steps for the renewal payment.
